Blue Teapot Theatre Company is deep in rehearsal for A Midsummer Night’s Dream. 48 hours photographer, Reg Gordon and journalist Marie Madden recently visited and caught them in action.
Blue Teapot Theatre Company is featured in an 8-page article in Galways premier edition of 48 Hours Magazine; a magazine created over the course of a weekend by local professionals. The brainchild of Reg Gordan Galway-based photographer, 48 Hours aims to highlight local arts in Galway.
Marie Madden, Deputy Editor of the Galway Independent, sat in on Blue Teapots rehearsal on March 27th and says 'I am blown away by the passion, skill and hard work of all concerned".
Blue Teapots' 'A Midsummer Nights Dream' will open on Munster Avenue on June 18th with a preview at NUI Galway's conference for International Service Providers for Respite Care on June 10th. 48 Hours sat in on The Teapots rehearsal of Act One, Scene Two of 'Midsummer' - an intimate scene where Hermia and Lysander plan to run away to get married and Helena (Hermias best friend) stumbles upon them. They reveal their plan to her... in error.
