Arts & Disability Ireland and the Firestation Artists' Studio extends an invitation to Visual Artists with a Disability to an artists networking event that we are hosting at the Firestation Artists Studio, 9-11 Lower Buckingham Street, Dublin 1 on Wednesday 7th July 2010 from 2pm – 4pm.

Arts & Disability Ireland and the Firestation Artists Studio offers an annual studio award for an Artist with a disability, and we are opening the studio doors to artists for this informal opportunity to meet with other disabled Irish visual artists, as well as the 2010 Recipient of the Studio Award, Anna Berndtson. Anna will speak a little about her practice and the work she’s been developing during her time at the Firestation, and those attending artists who would like to show/discuss their practice, are also invited to do so, though this is optional. Information about Anna's practice can be found here

If you would like any further information on this event, or wish to confirm your attendance, please contact Janet Healy, Development Manager, Arts & Disability Ireland by email at janet@adiarts.ie
